His career has seen him work on the development, design, construction, integration, and completion of significant new infrastructure across Australia.

Throughout his career, Simon has taken on various leadership and management roles, his strength lies in his versatility and proficiency in leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve outstanding outcomes. Notably, he has successfully led the engineering of projects such as North West Program Alliance, delivering level crossing removals in Victoria, the Mernda Rail Extension project which extended the Melbourne Metropolitan Rail Network, and the Southern Expressway project in South Australia which duplicated a congested transport link in Adeliade.
